My goal is to try to help you get back into your flow.  The intention is to trigger your creativity so even if you don’t use my ideas, it helps you get moving in your writing.  I feel I’ve done my job if you become re-motivated and re-energised and get back into writing your story.

The StuckOnMyStory process is pretty straight forward….

A.  Tell me about your story

You provide me some background info on your story:

• Fill out a request form template in this website so that I have enough background to work with
• Tell me any specific questions or concerns you may have that could help me target my brainstorming efforts.  I'm happy to help with a variety of things, such as plot / character conflict, character development, setting / world-building, etc. 

You don't need to give me the whole story itself, but if you want to, there is the option to attach a document.  However, I kindly ask you to limit the length to something fairly short to no more than around 1000 words max.

B.  I’ll brainstorm some ideas

Then it's my turn.  I'll read your submission and do the following for you: 

• Provide you with some targeted questions to trigger your own brainstorming process
• Come up with some ideas for possible plot directions or for whatever you were asking about

This information will be displayed in an individual Feedback Forum.  Ideally I would like to have all of the submissions plus my feedback available for all registered users.  This could also result in the added potential bonus of getting more feedback and ideas from multiple writers.  But if you don’t feel comfortable with that, that's okay and it's easy to keep your Feedback Forum private as well.

C.  Further discussion in the Feedback Forum

You can follow up with some additional questions in the Feedback Forum as well. 

If your forum is open to all registered users instead of private, then other users can provide input too.

A tip for when you work on your submission - there is a time out setting of 60 minutes for using the submission form.  So if you wil be working on your submission bits at at time, it would be wise to work on it in Word or some other program and then copy / paste into the submission form.
